Although the apartment is by the lift and slopes, it is in a tranquil location popular with small groups and families. The apartment has a south-facing balcony with panoramic views of the mountains overlooking the piste and tree lined slopes. From the balcony, you can hear the sounds of the river and the waterfall (Cascade de Nyon).

A free bus stops directly outside the apartment and goes to the centre of Morzine shops and to other ski lifts. The town centre is a short 20 minute walk along the banks of the river Dranse which flows through Morzine.

In the summer, the apartment is on both walking and biking trails. The Cascade de Nyon adventure centre is close by with canyoning, zip wire, cafe, and a high ropes course.
